Junichi Osawa
President and Representative Director

Junichi Osawa was appointed president and representative director of ACIST Japan in 2016.
He brings a depth of experience in interventional cardiology and a strong reputation among key industry stakeholders in Japan.

He served as president of Volcano Japan for the past 10 years building the business from inception to the acquisition by Philips in 2015. Prior to Volcano, Osawa also worked for Medtronic in Japan as the managing director for their vascular business and spent 20 years at GE, holding a number of roles of increasing responsibility in the US and Asia.

Minoru Noda
VP of Sales and Marketing

As VP of Sales and Marketing, Noda manages cross-divisional promotion to introduce ACIST’s valuable medical solutions to the market. In 1989, Noda began promoting COOK Urological devices, which had the number one market share in Japan. Other past experiences include Boston Scientific Japan, where he was hired in 1996 as a core member of the Urology business and then became sales manager of the Endoscopy division. In 2002, Noda became Business Unit Director of the Urology division, gained 40% of market share and was promoted to Sales VP of the Cardiovascular division and successfully launched a new DES in 2014. Noda’s experience and dedication bring value and drive to ACIST Japan and its sales and marketing division.

Minoru Noda
