This is a quick guide for learning how to use and implement the ACIST CVi® Contrast Delivery System. There are a variety of components that make up the CVi® Contrast Injector. Some of these include touch screen monitor, saline pump, injector head, mobile cart, among others. Some of the consumables include the patient tubing, hand controller, multi-use syringe product, automated manifold product, and hand controller product. The document breaks into steps how to correctly load contrast, load saline tubing assembly, and purge and flush the tubing. It also expands on the setup of the AngioTouch® Hand Controller and how to perform an injection. Some important activities occur between cases or setups. These include between case activities, following the multi-use syringe procedure, as well as syringe removal and shut down.
